Lydia is a professional dancer, choreographer, and fitness instructor based in London.

Lydia began her dance training at the age of 5 in Devon at Dancing Feet Academy of Dance. By the age of 11 she continued to train with the Royal Ballet Mid-Associate outreach program, attending weekly classes in Bristol with former Royal Ballet dancer, Karen Paisley.

In 2009 Lydia represented England in the Dance World Cup competition in Jersey and was awarded 1st and 3rd place in her categories and the following year was awarded a scholarship to train at Legat School of Dance in East Sussex. During her time at Legat Lydia was under the direction of teachers, Mary Goodhew, Elaine Holland, Christine Blewer and Paul Liburd. On completing her education at Legat in 2012, Lydia was invited to perform in Bermuda Civic Ballet’s production of Romeo and Juliet as a member of the corps de ballet with guest choreographer, Svebor Secak of Croation National Ballet.

From 2012-15 Lydia completed her formal education with Central School of Ballet and toured nationally with Ballet Central in her graduating year performing works by established choreographers, Christopher Bruce, Sharon Watson and Christopher Marney, to name a few. After graduating with a First Class Honours Degree, Lydia continued to perform and choreograph as a freelance artist at several venues in London for stage, screen and TV. The venues she has performed at include the Royal Albert Hall and Sadlers Wells and Lydia has also choreographed large scale works for students of Central School of Ballet.

In addition to performing Lydia has been teaching dance and fitness at studios and schools across London and offers private tuition upon request. She currently holds a Level 3 Mat Pilates qualifiation. Lydia is passionate about offering the opportunity and skills of dance to people of all ages and abilities, whether for recreation or to strengthen a dancers technique and artistry.
